Brethren All Our Lodge, Portland #55, presented 8 Kindle Readers to deserving students at George Middle School yesterday June 10. Members of our lodge made the presentation at a school assembly of 380+ students. A special thank you to WB Brian Ruder for starting this program for us and making it a great success. The Grand Lodge of Oregon made the Kindles available at a discounted price to all Lodges in the State of Oregon. As Master of our Lodge, I would like to extend a special thanks to the membership for making resources available to support all our community programs. Be it Kindle for Books, Bike for Books, supporting masonic youth programs, giving medical aid to needy Brethren, participating in work party’s at Green Hills Cemetery, it is rewarding to work side by side with our fraternity for the good of us all.
